Pima cotton is grown in Peru in south-west #America. It's named after an Indian-American tribe, Pima.. This type of cotton needs specific weather conditions to grow well so apart from Peru it is grown in some parts of texas and southeast of the U.S. Only 3% of American cotton is pima cotton. In quality its nearly as good as #Egyptian cotton with ELS(extra long staple).
